If you want to find my art elsewhere i've just made a Pixiv and ArtStation account some time ago. After finishing my art today i felt like i'm a bit ready to take off to other worlds so i should start publicizing them.

ArtStation (due to being a safer platform and more strict sensitive content some drawings will not go there, but softer nsfw artwork such as nudity will go there) || Pixiv (R-18 content is totally allowed there)

Aight, i'm gonna say being welcomed at open arms in this website has me get so happy. More than every other site i used to post on to get enough attention.

I began my seeking for attention on Twitter, but after many months of desperate doodle sketching, i felt like i wasted too much time posting too much that i only got 3-5 followers. Twitter's so full of japanese artists but also some artists who also have a profile here. When i left it after getting a living on Mastodon, i treated Twitter that it's not even the thing for me anymore, even because algorithms and shit kind of ruined my expectations to get my first public to interact with me.

But what was also bad is that people told me there's a bunch of toxic people here. Yes, two reasons got me enough (or also one) to NOT use Twitter anymore.

But when i entered here on Newgrounds, i had got more active than the time i was registered back on October of the last year, except i got active for real when i left Twitter and Instagram behind. I cannot comprehend why do Twitter artists get so many numbers, but i'd better stick out of it while i'm having more fun residing on this place.

Also love the unique features that make what could be the most innovative website design i've ever seen in history. The games, movies, audio and art portals, the very simple BBS styled forums, profile level and whistles... it's what makes this site so awesome i ain't ever going to stop using it for a longer while. It's a very great way to get people interact with others unlike how Twitter and Instagram bug off a lot spamming their emails and notifications with FOMO tendencies. Mastodon was good enough, but this place is godsent.

Other art sites i may want to use in the future is Artstation and Pixiv. I'm never going to deal with lousy ass algorithms anymore.

Seeing japanese artists draw on Twitter / Pixiv always has me wonder how they manage to draw very dynamic poses and shapes. But the thing i'll never get so easily is HOW they could do it by hand with a reference or not.

I've always had this doubt for years and i still do, so despite the fact i want to try to destroy this usual habit of trying to draw things without reference, i instead keep on doing things the wrong way just as usual.

Damn it. Help.

Hi guises....

Ok, let's be serious. After a decade of rest i've finally decided to come to Newgrounds. Since i was young i used to play and watch tons of Adobe Flash stuff here in this site, really loved em', tasted em', and now i'm here just for the drawn gals. I used to be in the intranets for a decade but i wasn't aged enough to stay around so it was well worth the wait to get ready and face the future.

I'm a nearly 21 years old Italian who's recently setting up a social profile on Twitter and has been watching italian Twitch for quite a year (Italian twitch is crazy, yet however there's tons of stuff others might not fully understand, it's all foreign lore). I love playing videogames, especially retro ones since back in the 2000s my parents got to know Bubble Bobble and the such before getting to know Super Mario and the rest. Nowaways i've been getting into a more mature way to know my favourite franchises and thus deciding to get into the means of drawing. From when i wrote this post i've obtained a new Hewlett-Packard multifeature printer which was a hassle to set up (i had my parents do the plugging stuff).

I'm pretty inexperienced in professional drawing so i'm currently doing my crappy drawing practices on my Canson XL sketchbook till i fill every single page on the Earth while i'll be struggling to bring up a complete sketch at any time, because i'm not sure if i can post incomplete work / doodles on Newgrounds as of yet. I'd like some welcome comments for the meantime as i'm currently able to lurk around.
